2 lbs lean hamburger
1 lbs hot & spicy Italian sausage
1 cup grated Parm cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
4 cloves FRESH garlic - chopped medium small
1/4 cup dried parsley
1 large egg
Skin sausage, combine /w hamburger and other ingredients. Roll into meatballs approx the size of golfballs.
Bake at 350 degrees, on a grate or broiler pan so meat can drain while cooking, for 17 minutes. Turn the meatballs and cook for additional 17 minutes. Total meatball cook time is 34 minutes. You can make them a day in advance.
When cooked, pat meatballs with a paper towel before placing in sauce and simmering to infuse meatballs with sauce.
Cook a heavier type pasta, linguine or ziti to go with these meatballs.
