By American standards our hotel room was tiny. The bed took up the whole room. It was right across the street from the Blue Mosque and the AyaSophia.
We had a big window that I kept open at all times. We woke up to the sound of the Call to Worship. It was beautiful. We went to sleep listening to the babble of foreign voices out on the street.
After the first shower, I learned to TAKE THE TOILET PAPER OUT OF THE POTTY before I turned on the water. It was a really funny moment.
I thought our hotel stairs were wonderful.
The Blue Mosque at night. Everybody should go to Istanbul.
